OneWater Volunteers in Action

November 21, 2025

OCWA’s amazing OneWater volunteers brought water education to Little Britain, Hepworth and Norfolk County. The sessions were a hit and students and teachers shared glowing feedback.

Dr. George Hall Public School – Kawartha Lakes Region

A big thank you to Brennan and Christine for delivering an engaging and impactful presentation to Grade 8 students in Little Britain! Your enthusiasm helped students gain a deeper understanding of the water cycle and the processes behind water and wastewater treatment.

Hepworth Central Public School – Georgian Highlands Region

Justin and Tyler visited Hepworth Central Public School and shared their expertise with students through the OneWater program. Your hands-on knowledge and engaging presentation helped students connect classroom science to real-world water treatment and conservation.

Lynndale Heights Public School – Southwest Region

The OneWater Education Program is successful because of dedicated operators like Matthew, Tareesa and Ritchie who recently visited Lynndale Heights Public School. Your engaging presentation and insights helped students understand the vital role water and wastewater operators play in keeping our communities safe.
