OCWAmarine and Safety Award Recipients Honoured at Special Dinner
Toronto, ON - A dinner was held Tuesday, September 22nd at the Holiday Inn Yorkdale to publicly recognize recipients of the 2008 OCWAmarine and Safety Awards. The event recognized the contributions that employees make to the Agency each year and also honoured those who go above and beyond to enhance/promote a healthy and safe OCWA workplace. The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will continue its partnership with the Region of Peel to operate, maintain, and manage the South Peel Water and Wastewater Treatment System under a new contract valued at $447 million. OCWA an official partner of the World Water Monitoring Day Program
OCWA is proud to partner with the World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD) program. WWMD is an international education and outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens to conduct basic monitoring of their local water bodies.

OCWA South Peel Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over $27,000 for Trillium Health Centre
For the second year, OCWA employees, industry friends, and clients gathered to honour the memory of Gary Booth. This year's funds were donated to the Trillium Foundation Cardiac Challenge.
