OCWA Jets Win 1st Place in Safety Event at the 2009 Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference
Orlando, FLA - The OCWA Jets Operations Challenge team represented the Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) at the annual WEFTEC conference held in Orlando, Florida last week and won 1st place in the Safety event. The Safety event simulates a rescue of an unconscious worker from a confined space. OCWA Jets had the fastest time and no penalties of 31 teams competing in Division 2. Teams from across the United States, Canada, and Argentina competed in the Challenge.
