The Ontario Clean Water Agency is pleased to share our experience by making available A Template for Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) Small & Medium Sized Water Treatment Systems in Ontario [1] on OCWA's internet.
Our clients' facilities have well established Emergency Response Plans to ensure a decisive and effective response in an emergency situation. According to Dr. Larry Moore, OCWA's Emergency Program Coordinator, "this template represents a distillation of our experience with appropriate plans for small and medium sized water systems." Municipalities are encouraged to use the template to assist them in developing site specific plans to meet their specific needs.
