OCWA supports the goals of the Water Expert Panel to develop an investment and financing strategy to ensure that drinking water remains clean and safe and that the Province's water and wastewater systems are sustainable well into the future. We understand the government will be reviewing the report's recommendations and will determine an appropriate course of action. The Agency looks forward to receiving the government's response to the recommendations provided by the water expert panel. Through a commitment to enhancing agency governance, transparency and accountability, OCWA will be poised to respond to direction from the Province to meet possible changes to our structure and mandate. In the meantime, OCWA will remain focused on its mission to demonstrate service excellence to our clients through the delivery of safe, reliable and cost-effective water and wastewater services.
