OCWA an official partner of the World Water Monitoring Day Program

OCWA is proud to partner with the World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD) program. WWMD is an international education and outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens to conduct basic monitoring of their local water bodies.

As a WWMD partner, OCWA will be distributing water kits throughout Ontario during the monitoring months. Full Story...

Earth Hour is a global initiative promoted by the World Wildlife Fund in which millions of people around the world plan to turn off their lights for one hour to deliver a global message that action is needed on climate change. OCWA South Peel Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over $27,000 for Trillium Health Centre

For the second year, OCWA employees, industry friends, and clients gathered to honour the memory of Gary Booth. This year's funds were donated to the Trillium Foundation Cardiac Challenge. In addition to fundraising for the community hospital, OCWA's annual event provided an opportunity to enjoy 18 holes at the Region of Peel's BraeBen Golf Course in Mississauga. Full Story...

OCWA to participate in Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a global initiative promoted by the World Wildlife Fund in which millions of people around the world plan to turn off their lights for one hour to deliver a global message that action is needed on climate change. On Saturday, March 29, OCWA will join millions of people around the world in support of this global concern.

OCWA will show its support by requesting staff turn off non-essential lights and reduce non-essential power consumption during the Earth Hour. Full Story...
