Accountability

OCWA is held accountable through:

• An annual report tabled in the Provincial Legislature and available on OCWA's web site.
• An annual business plan with performance measures submitted annually to the Ministry of the Environment (MOE).
• Annual audits of the Agency's financial statements by the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario.
• Public access to Agency records under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
• Reporting requirements for OCWA-operated facilities to the MOE.
• Individual facility reports for OCWA-operated water facilities are available to the public through OCWA's municipal clients.
• Inspection of OCWA-operated water and wastewater facilities by the MOE.
